Handwoven, soft Pochampally cotton saree in white with black and white cross ikkat patterns along the pallu and border.
Originating from Telangana, one of the ancient ikat weaving centers in India, Pochampally sarees are distinguishable by their unique chowkra designs. Different types of ikat motifs are created by tying and dyeing the threads prior to the weaving process.
The meticulously hand-woven warps and wefts, complex geometric patterns and pleasant hues exude simplistic grace and charm.
The dyeing process in this art form is carried out multiple times in different colours by the weavers to get the design. It can take up to 7 months between 2 people to complete one length of a saree.
Stands for "mine" in Malayalam, in its most loving form, Ende festive collection shows the connect between the wearer and her prized piece of nine yards of grace..
