Handwoven Shibori hand-dyed Chanderi saree in an elegant weave with a blue border.

Known for its beauty, softness, transparency and lustrous sheen - the magic of a Chanderi saree lies in its thread, its warp and its weft.

It takes an expert weaver a week to setup a loom and almost 3-4 days to weave a saree. Most of our weavers from Chanderi have looms setup inside their houses and have been associated with handlooms from a very young age.

Stitched, bound and twisted using the Shibori tie & dyeing technique – originating in ancient Japan dating back to the 8th century – it is a laborious art form.

It takes anywhere between 8 and 10 days to clamp, dye, set and dry a single saree. We work with women artisans from Rajasthan, who specialise in Shibori and Bandhani handmade prints.

Stands for "mine" in Malayalam, in its most loving form, Ende festive collection shows the connect between the wearer and her prized piece of nine yards of grace..
