Handwoven Chanderi Silk
Known for its beauty, softness, transparency and lustrous sheen - the magic of Chanderi lies in its thread, its warp and its weft.
It takes an expert weaver a week to setup a loom and almost 3-4 days to finish weaving six yards of chanderi. Most of our weavers from Chanderi have looms setup inside their houses and have been associated with handlooms from a very young age.
Gently hand wash in cold water, and air dry in shade. Iron in medium heat only.
Every piece is designed and crafted by hand. Any unevenness in texture or embroidery is not a defect, but a characteristic of the handwoven product and a part of the process, that makes it unique. We do not mass produce our clothes- each piece is specially tailored for you.
